Washington D.C. Day 2

Today we went to the Washington D.C. Zoo. 

We got to see the baby Panda!

Next, we visited the National Cathedral. 

There were a lot of glass windows and statues. 

We got to see all the president and state seals. 

The National Cathedral is SO BIG! 

Washigton D.C. even has a hockey team. They are called the Capitals. 

My favorite part about today was visiting the zoo. 

Washington D.C Day 1

My family is in Washington D.C. the nations capital! 

I miss you all a lot.These are things I saw and did today...

We rode the subway and walked A LOT! 

There are police cars everywhere here.

      We visited the Museum of Natural History and saw giant sea turtle.

                                                     Giant Squid, it was 2-3 years old.

                                                       A T-Rex that had a very long tail!

                                                       The Triceratops had really big horns.

   Shark teeth. I thought the boys would like these. We plan to go back and see more on another day. 

                      We had dinner at a nice restaurant. 

lost tooth

Today in school i lost my tooth in class! before it came out it was bleeding. And i lost it lost it.
I looked everywhere! And when it came out i was happy! I hope that a new strong tooth grows in.

Washington D.C

In December forth i will be going to Washington D.C.
We are go to see the constitution and the first flag.We are going to stay in a big hotel .I wonder
how big is the hotel? I wonder what floor we will be staying on? I wonder if i will see the president?
Will we see the National Christmas tree!

Let the Games Begin

We had our first game today in Jackson! 

 

Toledo Zoo

Today my mom surprised me and Zeke today with a trip to the Toledo Zoo! It was a nice cool day so the animals were really active! Here is a video of the crazy monkeys, watch the video to see how crazy they are!

This polar bear was trying to get his ball out of the ice. He threw it in the water because he thought he could melt it out. 

The penguins are happy to be in their new home. I liked that they have a beach to play on.

I had so much fun at hockey camp this year! I got to play with my friend Megan and made a new friend Willow! I am sad that coach Stavros is leaving though.

Keep Calm and Dance On 2014

Last week on Thursday and Friday I had a dance recital, I had two dances Ballet and Jazz. My ballet song was "Let It Go" and my Jazz song was "Calling All The Monsters". I was really happy that my teachers Mrs. Roberts came to watch me Thursday night. My favorite part of the recital was during our ballet dance when the snow was falling on us. I can't wait until next year!

Memorial Day Vacation

 For the Memorial Day vacation my family went up to Traverse City, MI. We got to TC on Friday night and stayed until Sunday. Some of my favorite things we did were, feeding the baby ducks, we a TRUE Slurpee with a mustache straw, cooked marshmallows over an open fire, we watched the sun go down on the beach, and buried myself in the sand. I made sandcastles on the beach and made 8 new friends and played volleyball with my mom. I will never forget this vacation and can't wait to go back!

Student of the Week

Today on Wednesday I had guest come into my classroom, Courtney Millar and McKenzie Carey, they are Adrian College Women's hockey players. We put all our hockey gear out and my friends had to guess where we put each piece of equipment. Then my friends asked us questions about hockey. It was fun to share what I like to do with my class. 

iPad Presentation

On May 1st I did a presentation on how we use iPads in our classroom. At first I was a little nervous, but I got to practice, and then I felt better. My favorite thing about presenting was getting to show Doodle Buddy. I will never forget this night!

Bike Riding Day 2 - I DID IT!

Today I practice a little bit with my pedals. Then my dad put my pedals on and raised my seat. I was able to RIDE MY BIKE! The best part was riding all the way down to the stop sign! 

Bike Riding-Day 1

I want to learn to ride my bike by summer. I want to be able to ride at the lake, to The Centre, and with Ethan in the neighborhood. My dad took me to The Centre to practice my balance without my pedals.  

Spring Break FUN!

On April 5th I turned 7! On my birthday we went to the Ann Arbor Hands On Museum. 

These are some of my favorite things to do at the museum. 

At the museum I used the green screen to pretend I was being eaten by a spider. 

On Sunday April 6th we went to the Mud Hens game. I standing by the dugouts trying to catch a baseball. I liked walking around the baseball park with my dad. 

On Monday April 7th and 8th I had my FIRST slumber party at my house! We had a very fun PILLOW FIGHT!!! We watched the Disney movie Frozen, ate popcorn and Pirate Booty. 

Grace Barber, Grace Blonde, Megan Schutte, and Rosemary Olsaver came to the party. 

On April 10th it was my aunt Rhonda's birthday. We went to the the Air Zoo. I liked the very dizzy rides.

On Friday April 11th we went to the Toledo Zoo with Megan and Joey, Rosemary,Zeke, and we also saw my friend Lidia! My favorite thing was EVERYTHING!  I learned that I weigh as much as a female gorilla! Watch the video I made below to see all the cool animals.
